We would like to take this opportunity to tell you all about Five Pine Racing Stables. Five Pine Racing is owned by Fred and Maggie Davis and located on Union Street in Whitefield. Our team consists of three drivers, brothers; Chandler, Brock, and Jourdan. Chandler drives a Super Street; Brock drives a late model and Jourdan a Super Street. We have many members of the team who love to help and enjoy racing as much as we do. Five Pine has a web site (www.5prs.com) to keep our fans and racing friends informed of what is happening. We constructed a new race shop last fall so that our team has plenty of space to wrench the racing fleet. Our team is entering its sixth season of stock car racing and looking forward to a successful season.
Five Pine began in the summer of 2003 with one Super Street car driven by Brock. Brock has been involved in racing since the age of thirteen. For five years, Brock raced go karts all over New England. On a go kart he was fortunate to have raced at Vermont’s Thunder Road, New Hampshire International Speedway and Sugar Hill Speedway. For a couple of years during the winter months he tried his racing abilities on the Rock Maple Sno Cross tour racing a 440 liquid cooled Polaris. He also raced Moto Cross for the Vermont Moto Cross Association. Despite trying many forms of racing he prefers stock cars and has been racing them since 2003.
In 2003 Brock raced one half of a season in the Super Street Division at White Mountain Motor Sports Park and had his first career win in a stock car. During this year Brock drove a crate motor which was the test run for the owners of White Mountains Motor Sports Park. In 2004 he continued to race in the same division and finished sixth. The third year, driving a newly built car at the Park was the charm and with three feature wins he was crowned the 2005 Super Street Champion.
Brock’s journey for faster and more challenging racing continued as he entered the Late Model division in 2006. During this year there were many lessons to be learned and a lot to take in. He managed to win a qualifying race and finish races in the top five. 2007 was also a successful move forward for Brock, with many heat wins, semi feature wins and strong top five finishes. Brock also qualified for two American Canadian Tour races at the Park running with New England’s best. July had the team with all hands on deck trying to qualify for the Oxford 250. For the first time in the 250’s history late models would be racing for the prestigious crown. Brock did not qualify but did manage to make it to all the qualifying rounds and brought the car home safe and sound. He really feels that this level of racing is where he belongs and has his goals set to get there.
With the new season approaching, we will be racing our two Super Street cars at White Mountain Motor Sports Park in North Woodstock. Our plan is to race our late model on the American Canadian Tour if we can acquire a committed sponsor to do so.
As a sponsor we would be able to offer you a link to our web site for advertising. Our web site has had approximately 20,000 hits over a year in a half and brings all sorts of people there. We have racing news reporters that view our site regularly and mention it in their columns. It is a good media for racing enthusiast and gets a lot of exposure. Our goal with the web site is to be informative and professional. Our web master takes lots of photos and includes much more than just the Five Pine Team at the tracks where our cars race. He has captured legends of racing that he finds at the tracks as well as the little guy.
Another opportunity for any sponsor is that our owner and drivers are electricians. We own Norris Davis Electric, Inc. and would consider incentives for our sponsors to promote a good working relationship and have done so in the past. Also our Five Pine Racing team is a registered business and is totally its own entity.
In summary our team is committed to racing and getting our cars on the track. We have three drivers who love racing and have spent most of their lives chasing one form of racing or another. Our goal is to continue and grow as a team and to have good working relationships with anyone who would like to be involved. We would like to thank you for taking time to read this cover letter and your consideration.
Sincerely yours,
Fred and Maggie Davis, Owners
