Crew Remarks: (Fred)
“ Yeah! We needed that! We changed at least 10 big things to solve one small problem, which made for one emotionally satisfying night. Not that we are season veterans but still, you like to lose by yourself and not because of mechanical gremlins. When “doomage” like that hits it’s like trying to solve a rubik’s cube blind folded. For those of you who know me, you know I like to talk and even more than that, laugh, but above all that I like to bullshi**. I got to tell ya Saturday mornings just bring out the worst in me. I try to stay cool, but WOW! Until we get to the Park I’m a pressure cooker. Any other Dad’s like that? I don’t know if its fear, nerves, or stupidity, but Saturday mornings really have a way of testing me. All of this built up whatever it is all seems to be worth it when we are back on the road telling stories from our two trucks on the radios. To all of you that put on the show Saturday night, good |

job; I spent half of the night in the grandstand. I can tell you that what you guys and girls do is pretty impressive. It also helps that every class is busting at the seams with entries. That is some pretty fast short track racing. I would like to say thanks to the crew, we just have to keep digging. Chan keep racing hard just like you did. Brock, good run!
Until next week do as I tell my drivers, when you hear them knocking don’t answer that door.
" P.S.
Good calls Bobby Brown. And just for the record it’s your voltage regulator on your bike that’s going bad. Just incase you’re wondering. |

Driver remarks: Brock
“ I had a lot of fun again this weekend. The 100 lapper was very enjoyable. Winning the qualifier was fun and it was even better to make it to the semi. The crew and I really worked the car over during practice and we were able to work out all the bugs. We were also able to get a handle on the handling, which was a big relief. Come feature time I was a little nervous. I have never driven a racecar that long in my career. When lap 75 came around I was not only relieved, but also happy. 75 laps meant almost done and yet still enough time to race hard. My lane just wasn’t moving at the beginning. The drivers and their cars are very fast and they took full advantage of going to the outside of the slow lane. When that happened I had absolutely nowhere to go. I found myself going from 3rd to 13th. I think I could have finished higher if I wouldn’t have gotten into a little trouble on lap #60. That mistake (completely my fault) sent me to |

Driver remarks: Chan
“ The # 57 was wicked fast Saturday night. I still need more seat time in order to dig into my potential. I had fun working the outside groove during the qualifier and feature. I even gained a few positions while riding on the outside. At the beginning of the feature I came across some bad luck. Unfortunately one of the drivers got a little tail happy. In my desperate attempt to save the #57 I had to give up what seemed like 15 spots. Losing that many spots put me in the rear with all the animals. I hate being in the rear. I think that’s safe to say considering I’ve spent the past three weekends there. I accidentally ended up in the infield due to my own personal error. As the rules go the scorers put me back where I came from. On the bright side when I was by myself my crew timed me and I was approximately 2-3 tenths faster than the front pack of cars. I’m going to keep working on the #57 and keep racing hard. On Saturday nights I’ll race hard, but I guess I need to just keep waiting for my lucky break." |

 Whoop-de-do out of turn 3.

Turn 3 action during the Super Street feature with Jeff Marshall's #32 on the inside of Chan.
|
Congratulations to Mike Martel and the #75 crew. Mike won his qualifier and his first Super Street feature event.
