Crew Remarks: (Fred)
What a great week for BDL (me)! Wednesday I turned half a century old. Sad, but true! The gang did their best to cheer me up and they succeeded. Saturday morning Brock called me to say that he had passed his state electrical license exam. Saturday night just topped off an awesome day. Chandler won his first ever feature as a super street driver (sweet!). On Sunday I treated myself to a “ Freddy Day” and I went to watch the Oxford 250. I can’t remember a week that I’ve had more fun.
Speaking of Chan what can I say? I think the kid did a nice job and I am very proud of him. I think Adam Delucca gave him all he could handle. As of Tuesday morning Chan was still the main topic during our morning coffee break. Chan may have gotten off to a slow start this season, but he’s the rookie making the most noise right now.
As for Brock, I do believe a pay raise is in order. For those of you who are not familiar with the state electrical exam I can attest that it is very tough. Brock was working 40 hours a week, mending his late model, and spending the rest of his free time hitting the books. I guess that’s the beauty of being young. It seems they have all the time and energy to do anything they really want to do. To the #47 fans, hang on! Brock’s metal baby will be getting 100% of his attention from here on out. I can’t help but feel that we have let Brock down a little with his new late model.
Enough talk about the boys. I really need to talk to all of our fans. If you like what you see let us know! If you have any suggestions or anything you want to say let us know! We have a contact page and we would absolutely love to add anyone to the fan page. If there are any racers out there from Whitefield that check out our site let us know. I would really like to highlight all of the Whitefield racers.
Until next Saturday night… Have a safe week.
P.S.
To the couple that I sat next to at the 250 send us an e-mail or call us! Five Pine Racing Stables would love to treat you to a night at the Park!!!!

Late Model Qualifier
Brock spun between turns three and four late in the race and finished 7th.

Late Model Feature
The carburetor fell apart after the heat race. Thanks to Glenn Martel and the #23 team for letting us borrow their backup.
Brock started 17th in the 22 car field, finished 13th and sits 13th in the late model points race.

Driver Remarks: (Brock)
Once again the car was having a tough time handling. Throughout the whole feature it was loose from the center out. The #47 was hard to handle, so I wasn’t surprised when I spun myself out in the qualifier. Unfortunately that spin out caused me to lose out on my starting position for the feature. It was a little bit better than the last outing though. The track was hot and slimy all night and it really didn’t help my situation. During practice the carburetor broke and Glenn Martel was very kind and helped us out. The team and I came to the conclusion that we have had something wrong with our carburetor for weeks.
I am very excited for Chan. Winning a feature is always a thrill. He held off the #16 and #93 like a veteran. It’s always good when one us has a good night. Team #47 will try again next weekend.
