 Driver Remarks: (Chan)
The past two races have been very eventful for me! I can’t believe that I brought home the checkers on my 7th career race! The weekend before I brought home a strong 2nd place finish, and to add this to it just tops it all off! The car was comfy all night and it was going quite well. The track was very slimy and it made for some very interesting racing. Even though the car was hooked up it was still just a tic slow. I would like to thank everyone on my crew: Coal, Jourdan, Allyson & her fam, Uncle Joe, Bobby, and of course the rest of my family. I couldn’t ask for a better super and I am very thankful that I was given the opportunity to drive the #57. The #6 of Adam Delucca ran me real clean and it was a lot of fun racing with him. To top the night off the #57 was perfectly legal and it passed post race tech. We’ll see what happens this weekend coming from the rear. We all know it’s not nearly as easy to come up from the rear to the front.

Hopefully this weekend the #47 team will have some better luck. Brock and the team have been though a lot this season. They really need a break in this pattern of bad luck they have been getting. I have confidence enough in them to say that they will be able to change things around as a team.

Dale Shaw Sr.

Dale Shaw Sr. competed at Oxford Plains this weekend. Dale won his qualifying heat race and finished 17th in the 33rd annual TD Banknorth 250. Eighty-seven cars filed an entry blank, with 83 drawing a number to start the heat races. Forty took the green flag in the main event.

Look for Dale Jr. to be racing in the 250 soon. This young man has MAJOR talent.
As they say, "Like Father, like son!"

BTW, DJ finished 3rd in the NAPA Late Model feature event tonight and sets 10th in the points race.
