The #47 started on the pole surrounded by the #21 of Oren Remick and the #38 of Tyler Cahoon.
Brock held off the hard charges of Cahoon and the #20 of Kendell Legendre and finished 2nd to Oren's #21.
Late Model Semi
Brock started 3rd and finished 4th or 5th in the semi event.
Late Model Feature (Unfortunately it was too dark for any meaningful pictures.)
What a great performance by Brock! Starting 3rd of 21 cars, the #47 was stout. There was a lot of excitement and side-by-side racing while Brock raced upfront. The #47 held off a strong challenge by the #41 of Pete Potvin and finished 4th.

Crew Remarks: (Brock)
“Saturday night was a big turn around for team #47. We worked the speed gremlins out that were hiding in the trunk. Overall I think the performance was good because I could still see the leaders at the end of the race. I was hoping for a podium finish, and I didn’t want to settle for 4th – but I will. What can I say, three fast pieces of racing equipment beat me to the line. Thanks to everyone at Five Pine for sticking by me. Hopefully we’ll have a podium finish by the end of this season."

Other Stuff
Pre-race parking lot action : A poor scooter gets "killed" by a van-load of Massachusetts' teens. (The owner checked it out and everything was alright.)
Ellen and Steph endure the rain delay with smiles in the 5PRS, turn #1, cheering section.
Heat winners: #21 Oren Remick and the #00 of Claude Marquis.
Welcome back Todd and Gary Goodness. Todd is driving Gordon Burt's #82 Super Street. They made a lot of progress tonight and will be back next weekend. And, the team was all smiles and happy to be racing again.
Randy Potter had a tough night. The team did a great job getting the car together enough to start the feature which allowed them to capture those all-important points.

Anyone want to take a guess at who this WMMP race fanatic is? (Send an email to the Webmaster and I'll post the winner/results next week.)
We have a winner! Lea Donahue knew it was Russ Clark. That picture was taken at Beech Hill Auto many years ago before Phil expanded his garage. And . . . I'm not at liberty to give you any money Lea, but I'll bet you Freddy would spring for a hot dog and fries.
