“It was another fine night at the park, most everyone I talked to was in decent spirits, and trying to have a good night. If any of you in the pits got a chance to watch any of the racing you had to have noticed that loving feeling has gone away! Point races are close and if a driver wanted a position he had to work a little harder for it. As usual the two races I did get to watch were the Supers and the LMS features. I can tell ya that the staff at WMMP did have a meaningful chit chat with some of the rookies in the Supers and from what I witnessed it did improve their race.
As for the LMS race, it’s a shame it had to end that way with lapped traffic creating such a wreck! The team that had to pay the most was the #6 team. Not only did their LMS get it but their Kids truck also got totaled. Now I know it’s racing and everyone that’s entered has a right to race but when do you say enough is enough. Two weeks ago when Jourdan went a lap down, I radioed to him the show was over. Even though he didn’t want to concede he did exit stage right! That car is scheduled for this Saturday’s show providing, and I do mean providing, he can stay on the lead lap. If we cannot do that he will be radioed in.
To all the 47 fans, I wasn’t lying! We have started making moves in the right direction. For six weeks we chased a faulty MSD box, and like I always say, if there’s one in a million I’ll get it. To Brock, nice job it’s time we start restoring faith in you. Chan, see how good the car goes when you drive it instead of trying to ride it like a motocross bike? To the Five Pine Racing crew, you did a stellar job as always and to Bobby, thanks for not quitting this week. To the team number 7 in the Strictlys, thanks for letting me stand on the top row to film the feature. I’m going to do just as I agreed! Now look sharp and get out front because I have a feeling the Webmaster will be snapping more pictures of you than Miss America."
