Oh yeah, did anyone notice that the ProStocks were in town? I sure did. I love these rigs. I think we should put Chan in one next year. What do you think Freddy?

How about that Kendall Legendre? He's running for the Late Model Championship and at the same time decides to run his #20 Super Late Model on the same night.

If you know me you know I'm an old Front Yard Racing fan. Todd Goodness has been racing Gordon Burt's #82 Super Street the last 3 weeks (and starting from the rear.) Todd told me last week that he couldn't wait to get that out of the way so he could start up front and do some competitive racing for a change. And, that he did!

Congratulations Dude! Like I said on the phone, "You belong in that Super Street class."
|
In the feature Todd led the first half of the race. After a caution or two the fast cars shuffled him back a few spots and the #82 stayed out of the way of the point leaders and finished 8th.

Gary Griswold started the night in his familiar #12, running second in the Strictly Street point chase but had to put it on the trailer because of mechanical problems. I don't know the details, but, it looked like Keri Smithers offered the #91 to Griz for the night. His 6th place feature finish won him 2nd place in the Strictly Street Division. Good job Griz; good job Keri!

It was good to see Les back racing at WMMP. I talked to him and he told me Newt is doing well.

Is that 4.5 wide or what ?

And now it's off to the open race.
