You think driving a Mini is dangerous?   How would you like to be
this poor track official back in the day?

Who can tell me the who/what/where and when of this episode?

We have a winner !   Lea Donahue knew the who and what.

This was a blindfold race held at Hudson Speedway in 1983 or 1984. Driving the car was veteran pro-stock racer Bobby Brown and the passenger was his crew chief Greg Haley. The official was Paul Baron (father of WMMP Strictly Street driver David Baron Sr.) Paul was shaken up but not injured.

Some guesses:
Bruce H (WMT Crewmember): "Hudson in the early 70's"
Biggy B (Stap In): "no idea ..."
Teri (WMMP): "Sorry Tom, no idea ..."
Bill Ryan (OPS Owner): "You have me stumped. I looked at it a number of times but I have no idea.
                                Is it Curley?"

I'll have to talk to Freddy about a prize, but I figure if you're a guy he'll buy you some grub. If your a female maybe you could have your way with one of the 5PRS drivers. We'll have to work that out.
