That's Brock helping to dry the track after a brief rain shower. (Freddy begged, but there was no way they were going to let him in the car.) |
A lot of teams left Unity with plenty of work to do.< |
It was good to see DJ Shaw racing the #23 super Late Model. DJ didn't have the car to race with the Rowes and Clarks but was running in the top part of the pack when his night came to and end in the turn #1 sand bank.< |
| And then there was a legend. This is Ralph Nason and his #10. Anyone that has done any high-level racing in the Northeast has been beaten by this guy. Mr. Nason owns Unity Raceway and we salute him for his love of this local short track sport. Ralph shares the honors of being a 3 time winner of the prestigious TD Banknorth 250 at Oxford Plains Speedway along with Dave Dion and Mike Rowe.< |
It was a great day of racing. We saw veterans proving why they are so good and we saw some young racers giving a call-out that "Here we come."< |
