#57 Super Street - Qualifier DNQ - Feature 5th
#67 Super street - Qualifier 6th - Feature 9th
#47 Late model - Qualifier 2nd - Semi 2nd - Feature 4th

5PRS rolled out their new Super Street entry with Brother Jourdan at the helm and Reg Willey crew chiefing. The car was purchased from Bernie Latagne (full story).

The new #67 and it's rookie pilot "Bucky Lantagne" hit the track for practice with something to prove and did just that. The car was good and Jourdan felt good in it. We'll see if he has anything for Chandler.

Super Street Qualifier
Chan lost the clutch during practice and wasn't able to make it out for the qualifier. However, Freddy hit the slab and Jourdan and Chan, with help from others, got it swapped out and ready for the 50 lap feature.

Jourdan started 9th in the back of the field in the heat race and finished 6th.

Super Street 50 Lap Feature

Driver remarks - Chandler:
Well this weekend for the 57 team, did not go as scheduled due to a major driveline failure. In the last practice for some reason the 57 felt the need to throw a clutch. The night was pressed for time due to the fact that we were expecting rain so the track really had the program in high gear. So in turn I missed my qualifier and had all we could do get the car back together for the big 50 lap feature.

Since we missed the qualifier I got the great starting position of shotgun on the field. We only had 10 cars on the starting grid so I new my work was going to be cut out for the 57 and myself. In the first 10 laps the front 5 cars got away quick as a couple of cars fell in from their outside starting positions which always causes everyone to slow up. So the pack got broken up into two groups fast. I followed my youngest brother Jourdan in his new ride the red 67 for quite a while. Once we got to the halfway point of the race I had no choice but to turn the heat up a little bit!! I started to race the 67 pretty hard and I made a move to the inside of him as we went in to turn 3. We made contact and I got to the inside of him. After I cleared the 67 I went after the other two cars in the pack. Once I cleared the other two cars in the pack we had a late caution. This got the 57 back in striking range and we ended the night on a positive 5th place finish. I would to thank everyone from the 14 team because they had the clutch that ended up finding its way into the 57.

I would like to thank everyone for the help that we received on sat may 26. A special thanks goes out to Uncle Joe for handling everything that had to be done to get the 57 to the track. The family suffered the loss of my Dad's Mom Doris Davis, and we laid her to rest on Saturday morning. Thanks to Aaron and Marc for transporting the handsome 47 down to the track, and for getting everyone signed in. We can't thank everyone enough for the help and support. I was able to bring the 57 home to a positive 4th place finish.

Before it is time to go I just want to say good job to my youngest brother Jourdan in his first super street race. He did a hell of a job to finish and it was so good to see him smile from ear to ear. Brock's car is a whole new ride and it good to see him holding his own again. A special thanks goes out to Kevin Sweeney for painting the two cars in a matter of days.

Well till next week we are headed back to the garage to get the 3 cars in shape to do battle again. This weekend I have a feeling we will be getting some outlaws from riverside to join us in the supers so it should be a good night of racing. See you all then.

Late Model Qualifier
Brock lined up 3 of 8 in the qualifier.

The car was strong and finished 2nd.
