ACT Late Model Qualifier.

Brock drew a dreadful number, started last (10th of 10) but was up on the wheel and picked off a couple of cars to finish 7th.

The #47 started up front in the consi and won it, proving the car and driver were in race mode.

ACT Late Model 100 Lap Feature.
|
The consi win placed the #47 in the 19th starting position in the 29 car field. On lap 30 Brock cleared the #71 of Bobby Dragon and on lap 33 restarted 15th after the leaders, #32 of Jean Paul Cyr and #97 of Joey Pole spun. At the half-way point on lap 50 the #47 remained in 15th. In the last 25 laps Brock picked off a couple more cars and held his position to finish 12th.
We're very proud of Brock and the team. It was a gutsy move to run in the ACT race but patience and talent ruled the night. A 12th place finish is outstanding running against the best drivers in the northeast late model ranks. |
Thanks to Aaron Belanger for helping and sharing his LMS setup knowledge. He and Brock worked great together tonight.
