Coming off two consecutive checkered flags, Brock and the crew were optimistic about the feature and their 3rd place starting position. The car had different plans for the team. The #47 was loose and just got looser as the race went on. As the tires gave up Brock slipped behind the leaders by mid-race and finished 8th.

In the single 11 car super street qualifier the #67 started 4th and the #57 started 7th. Chan's Camaro liked the cool temperatures and moved quickly to 4th on lap 2 and to 3rd on lap 6 and finished 3rd. Jourdan finished 10th.

The #67 lined up 3rd and the #57 6th for the feature. Chan was held up by the #36 for the first 5 laps and fell back through the field. Jourdan was riding in the 3rd position until lap 19 when the #21 made a move coming out of turn #4 along with the #07 of Tim Casey. Everyone got together on the frontstretch and spun entering turn #1. Chan watched all this happening in front of him, moved high to go around the cars as Jourdan's #67 was hit again and darted up the track into the left rear wheel of the #57. Chan was done for the night and Jourdan brought the #67 home 10th.
