The car is close to being ready. Kevin was spraying the fenders this afternoon, new gears were installed and fluids were changed. Friday morning Freddy and I are headed to Oxford to purchase tires. Ten will be impounded at the track and four practice tires brought back to the shop.

5PRS added a team member today to help with the ever increasing workload of a three car team. We welcome Alex Harrington to the fold and appreciate his enthusiasm and willingness to jump in and help out.

Kevin Sweeney stopped by and picked up the front fenders for a paint refresh. While Kevin does that tomorrow I'll be headed to RSB to pick up more wheels and all those "incidentals" that make you fast.

The 22 gallon fuel cell has been installed. Four new wheels have been ordered so we can mount the 10 tires allowed and Kay will be the scorer in the ACT shack. The car needs (and will have) new shocks, springs and gears for the flat banks at Oxford's 1/3 mile track.
Everyone is very excited about heading to Oxford Plains on Saturday morning. The opportunity to compete with the best in the Northeast (and then some) is a racing team's dream.
