It's a busy time of the year. Around the Northeast teams are gearing up for an exciting season of racing. In race shops, home garages and driveways, I'm finding an unusually high level of anticipation as race cars of all kinds are being assembled.

| At 9:00 PM Wednesday night I swung by Mike's shop. Bear and Mike were busy finishing up the engine install while Nick Pilotte applied some last minute vinyl. Mike Jr's #4 VW Golf is ready to go this weekend.

| Dalton NH racers Alan and Jeff Young dropped by the shop and updated us on their plans. Alan raced the familiar black #24 at WMMP in 2007. They have purchased Rod Knudson's feature winning car and are busy preparing it for the 2008 season. Alan's primary sponsor will be Dalton Mountain Childcare in Dalton, NH with additional support from New to You Consignment in Lancaster, NH.
